    The portion control exercise mentioned for the fries was also practiced in Taco Bell to measure meat filling scoops. I started my own business and have found these exercises very helpful to control portion sizes given to eat in customers when the food is given in a basket.

    Bo there should be 7 millions views of this piece not 700 ! As a long time teacher and a long time ago 20 year steak house veteran… who swore years ago he’d NEVER step foot in a restaurant kitchen again, let alone do it with a title… (spoiler alert - I stumbled on this video cause I’ve just broken that pact) I just wanna tell you that if the true and thorough integration of every second of that 37 minutes where the actual entirety of any restaurant’s training program, food service in this country would legitimately level up into the 4th dimension !:) haha! You might have a bit of a lag in product knowledge early on but … wow !!;) if any owner could get a management team to actually buy into that so completely that they get their staff to match them on it and live it every day… well I think I might actually be okay with a few early weeks of the occasional…”well yah know mam, I have no earthly idea what’s in that dish or if it’s any good,” cause I guarantee it would be followed by something like…’”but I know I love this job and I’m sure whatever you order , you’re gonna get more than you expect from it cuz that’s exactly what I get outta this place every day!:) “ Anyway, just a quick and very sincere thank you for this brilliant and generous effort . I appreciate you!:)

    hey Bo, any suggestions on stand alone ordering app (we have no need for website). How our process works is person goes inside a business and takes the orders (could be several). The person inside business will use Ipad to record the order. Person outside in delivery vehicle will see & prepare the order and print a receipt. Any suggestion? Thank you
